Mikko Kuorinki, born in Rovaniemi, Finland in the Arctic Circle, earned his master degree from University of Arts and Design Helsinki. He works in a variety of media including video, installation, performance, etc. His works carry a touch of coldness for he often presents in a minimum approach either in installation or video artworks and refuses to interpret or describe his works through language, so that the works can only present themselves and their relationship with the surroundings, which give audience a sense between irony and mystery. "Stream-enterer (river)" depicts a man wade into the middle of a river and succumb to the flow of the stream."Summer Parade" depicts a woman banging drum and a man crashing cymbals together march through a serene forest in summer.
